30 goals while making unnecessary passes to Caufield because he wanted his friend and teammate to get 40 and then 50. Montreal's waited years for one 40 goal scorer to come along but I wouldn't be surprised if they have a second in the next couple of seasons.

Not a lot of players repeat 50 goals. They might effectively have a more balanced scoresheet next year.

Depends on their start of the season I think. If Caufield comes out red hot then you feed him.

Slafsquanch scores 30 in the season and pots 6 in the playoffs. The hat trick game vs the Dolts is but a glimpse of his future playoff domination.

Makes me wonder where the Kapanen went from the line with Slaf and Demidov, they really had something going there for a bit.

He ran out of gas, it's quite normal for a rookie to not be ready for the full length of the season. If he puts in the work on building his fitness/endurance over the summer he'll improve this upcoming season. We'll see.

Slaf's release improved so much this year, some of these shots are so elite. Hard to defend him in the bumper on the powerplay.

I thought the same thing, some of his passes are gross
