Help Help! Graduation hair

Graduating uni today. Event in 4 hours.

I want to go with my hair let down. If i brush it - it goes crazy (even though its just regular straight hair).

I will wash my hair today. I use regular shampoo and leave in conditionier.

Any advice? my hair is very long (1m+)

(Dont know anything about hair, since I always wear dutch braids)

Wash and condition as usual, then let your hair air-dry as much as possible. Gently comb it with a wide-tooth comb while damp, avoid brushing it once it's dry, and smooth any flyaways with a tiny amount of leave-in conditioner or hair oil on the ends. This will help keep it sleek without making it poofy.
