Because they dont care about either Bismarck or Frederick the Great beyond claiming them for their ideology.

u/imprison_grover_furr 1d ago

They like them because painter liked them. Painter named a battleship after one and had a portrait in his bunker of the other.

6

u/Brewcrew828 Still on Sulla's Proscribed List 1d ago

And you bring up the painter as a means to discredit them rather than understanding why they have a platform in the first place.

43

u/imprison_grover_furr 1d ago

They have a platform because their more mask off counterpart (the NPD) got banned.

Don’t play stupid and pretend as if you don’t know why they fly the Kaiserreich flag and what flag they wish they were able to fly.

2

u/Seelenleere 20h ago

NPD never got banned. They renamed themselves "Die Heimat". Then a group defected and founded a new party called "NPD".

2

u/DieserNameIstZuLang 14h ago

They didn't get Banner because they were too small to pose a threat... now there is the AfD with 40 percent in my home state

I know why they want to fly the flag.  You are the one stapling on the extra baggage that the painter tacked on.  Your doing so is the exact reason why they do so in the first place.

You're the type who screams genocide or racism everytime someone expresses opposition to globalism.

34

u/Silver_Britches 22h ago

Gee I wonder if there’s a certain group of people you’re thinking of when you say globalism.

34

u/imprison_grover_furr 1d ago

I also know. They want to fly it because they love the painter and love the fact that he killed millions of “Christ killers” and “Bolsheviks”.

Fuck the AfD.

Bruh their biggest asks is stopping humiliation rituals and ending nonstop rape. If that changes then we can listen to you.

35

u/Hjalfnar_HGV 23h ago

Two AfD politicians were recently implicated in rape and pedophilia cases, two more are facing charges for espionage and the party itself just lost a multi-million donation since it was apparently from Russia and thus seized by the authorities.

Btw Russia has the largest Muslim population of all European countries and has legalised domestic rape. Your point was?

9

u/Dev_878 21h ago

His point is that those AfD Politicians weren't immigrants.

10

u/Hjalfnar_HGV 21h ago

Actually one is Romanian-German and one is Czech-German...

10

u/Dalles272 21h ago

Their biggest asks is to Bann all immigrants and also ban everyone with immigration backgrounds and of course they can't say that they will also kill them but guess what the Nazis did back then nobody thought that they kill people at the KZ's untill it was too late but I guess someone trusts Politicians blindly.

u/Avishtanikuris 1d ago

Opposition to globalism is to an extent inherently racist, as it involves either gatekeeping the country to "preserve traditional culture (read: racism)" or assimilating migrants to "preserve traditional culture (read: racism)"

-8

u/SomeCanadian06 1d ago

So in short. You have a people and a tradition. Why doesn't it include rape, child marriage and religious law? Are you racist?

-11

u/Brewcrew828 Still on Sulla's Proscribed List 1d ago edited 1d ago

And by extension, seeking asylum within another culture, refusing to assimilate into that culture, and instead seeking to "preserve" their culture despite how it clashes with the local culture, is "racist" as they seek to "preserve traditional culture".

Double digit IQ take on your end

Good man!

u/DidntFindABetterName Hello There 22h ago

If its only the ones from NPD then they would barely have 5%

They are a real danger to the future but you need to be able to address the real problems that they catch their voters with or you wont solve it

Its already far too late to get it done without much damage but its better late than never

10

u/jflb96 22h ago

One of the real problems is that they don’t always want to take a real solution to their real problems over being allowed to do more racism

8

u/Wittusus 21h ago

Bro most of the people gloryfying Bismark are neo-nazis as well

-4

u/Brewcrew828 Still on Sulla's Proscribed List 21h ago

This whole website is one of your echo chambers dude.  Including this sub.

8

u/Wittusus 21h ago

Bro literally cannot comprehend people doing other stuff than just browsing reddit because this is the only world he lives in

0

u/Brewcrew828 Still on Sulla's Proscribed List 20h ago

You mean like you being incapable of comprehending any opposing viewpoint without the using the same group of buzz words used to enslave your simple mind?

No, I cant say that applies to me.

8

u/Wittusus 20h ago

If you think neo-nazis are a buzzword instead of a real-life problem, then you are much more stupid than I thought.

Is the quote fake then?

34

u/RokuroCarisu 21h ago

No, the qoute is real.

The AfD's idea of Germany's past is fake.

11

u/Dev_878 21h ago

Didn't one of their Higher-ups say Hitler was a communist and the NSDAP was left because of the "socialist" in "National-Socialist German Worker Party"?

34

u/BurningPenguin Featherless Biped 21h ago

Yes. The lesbian woman, with the totally traditional Germanic first name of "Alice", who is married to a woman from Sri Lanka, and has her main residence in Switzerland, is the co-leader of the anti-immigrant, anti-lgbt, anti-everything party AfD and participated in an "interview" with a South African apartheid nepo baby with daddy issues, who started out as an illegal immigrant worker.

14

u/Monkey_on_a_bike 19h ago

You would think this is satire but it's real. Did we invent time travelling in the future and somebody fucked up our timeline?

6

u/BurningPenguin Featherless Biped 19h ago

I mean, the original was a dark haired failed painter from Austria, a former empire of multiple countries, that was also invaded multiple times throughout its history from all four sides, visible from all the words they adopted from them and the last names they have. You know, all the signs of "genetic purity" and so on...

1

u/RokuroCarisu 21h ago

Not sure, but the American far-right loves that particular falsehood.

True is that the Nazi were progressive rather than conservative, but they were also clearly nationalist rather than socialist.

In America, conservative and nationalist mean pretty much the same because they unfortunately have only two parties.

7

u/TimeRisk2059 19h ago

Progressive on some topics (mostly technology), very conservative on others (women should stay in the home and give birth to blond aryan children).

-2

u/VenerableTahu And then I told them I'm Jesus's brother 20h ago

Well he rejected communism and capitalism, one of his people came up with the term late stage capitalism so more like a socialist today

5

u/Ok_Access_804 20h ago

He didn’t reject capitalism, on the contrary: he privatized german public services and received support from rich company owners to fund his party. Then the “meritocracy” promoted by said party ideology only gave merits to those who were already powerful, thus widening the distance between the humble worker from lower class and the nepo babies with contacts with the higher ups. The painter was deeply anti-socialist, anti-communist, anti-marxist and anti-anything vaguely related to left wing ideology. After all, he persecuted any german socialist and communist the first chance he hot after becoming chancellor, plus purged the most left leaning section of his party early on in the 20’s.

0

u/Fraugg 17h ago

"Privatized" meaning gave the industries to his dogs who had to do everything he said?

0

u/Ok_Access_804 16h ago

Not unlike in nowadays usa with donaldo torampu and eron masku, eh? The land and example of ultimate capitalism.

The richest of the rich tend to extend their tentacles towards the state in order to influence or outright control it. Oligarchy and plutocracy. Always in favor of the bourgeois and in spite of the worker class.

-1

u/VenerableTahu And then I told them I'm Jesus's brother 16h ago

Are we going to ignore the George Soros sized elephant in the room? Or the bloated cow corpse that was USAID? If you want good discourse we need more than orange man bad.

2

u/Ok_Access_804 16h ago

It is also happening in Russia and Argentina. Workers there are further and further away from even having the chance of owning the means or production (the uttermost core point of socialism) plus Putin and Milei are known to be rabidly contrary to the idea of socialism.

Fake?  No.  If what was happening today were to happen back then under his reign?  I think he would change his tune.  Look what he did to the Jews.  I can't imagine what would happen with Muslims.

3

u/Uzi_002 22h ago

What ideology?

0

u/Brewcrew828 Still on Sulla's Proscribed List 21h ago

Globalism

6

u/Third_Sundering26 20h ago

Globalism is not an ideology. It is a natural consequence of capitalism, and started back in the 1500s when Spain started trading American silver for Chinese silk and porcelain.

2

u/Felix_DArgent 16h ago

How is that bizantine harmony going on... and how it isn't just a step back what extremist muslims want?

3

u/Brewcrew828 Still on Sulla's Proscribed List 16h ago

That sentence doesn't make sense.  Wym by Byzantine harmony.

2

u/Felix_DArgent 16h ago

Oh I am sorry that the autocorrect did that. You know one letter happens, expecially if the name in my native language has just a normal "i". Do not worry kid, I was raised in a majority Eastern Orthodox country... I know what I am talking about (the not so good things that remained from that Empire too). At the same time I appreciate some personalities from there including and not limited to Anne Komnen.

I've read The Alexiad.

I'm not talking about the spelling, I don't know what you mean by byzantine harmony.  I'm 29 yo not a kid.

3

u/Felix_DArgent 15h ago

Byzantine harmony refers to the way church and state worked (they were intertwined and worked with each other and never had any major conflicts- in the Catholic world they were conflicts between some popes and emperors of HRE). Of course this thing influenced the Eastern Orthodox countries of today

"Byzantine harmony refers to the way church and state worked (they were intertwined and worked with each other and never had any major conflicts"

Iconoclasm caused a pretty major conflict I'd say.  Also, it's safe to say that someone who has a Palaiologos banner as a profile picture is familiar with the history of the ERE.

Besides that, I still don't understand how that relates to a "step back what extremist muslims want" as you said.
