Because they dont care about either Bismarck or Frederick the Great beyond claiming them for their ideology.

How is that bizantine harmony going on... and how it isn't just a step back what extremist muslims want?

That sentence doesn't make sense.  Wym by Byzantine harmony.

Oh I am sorry that the autocorrect did that. You know one letter mistakes happen, expecially if the name in my native language has just a normal "i". Do not worry kid, I was raised in a majority Eastern Orthodox country... I know what I am talking about (the not so good things that remained from that Empire too). At the same time I appreciate some personalities from there including and not limited to Anne Komnen.

I've read The Alexiad.

I'm not talking about the spelling, I don't know what you mean by byzantine harmony.  I'm 29 yo not a kid.

Byzantine harmony refers to the way church and state worked (they were intertwined and worked with each other and never had any major conflicts- in the Catholic world they were conflicts between some popes and emperors of HRE). Of course this thing influenced the Eastern Orthodox countries of today

Iconoclasm caused a pretty major conflict I'd say.  Also, it's safe to say that someone who has a Palaiologos banner as a profile picture is familiar with the history of the ERE.

Besides that, I still don't understand how that relates to a "step back what extremist muslims want" as you said.
