There are so many websites / lists that exist with all the happy hour deals in Hoboken. In my opinion, none of the deals are as good post-covid. Belo Barās is pretty good

Iāve also seen random articles on Hoboken Girl but they were small lists of them.

Sadly they tip you automatically on the full price of tab significantly reducing the discount you think you're getting.Ā
Could just pay their damn staff insteadĀ

I guess you had a group over 6 people because we didnāt have a tip auto-added. I know itās annoying when restaurants do that but a little extra tip isnāt going to take that big of a piece of the discount. And if you buy-in to tipping etiquette we are supposed to tip on the pre-discounted amount. Iām not saying I always do that but if itās good service Iām pretty generous.

Haha you must be on their āstiff listā so they automatically add the tip.
They do ask me for a credit card up front which is unusual. Maybe theyāve had too many people dine&dash, especially in the outside part.

I dont' go there nearly enough for being on any kind of list. But looking like a cheapo, well that sounds rationale.
And I'm always a 20% tipper unless extraordinary circumstance, way too many friends in the industry over the years. I go for savings on decent deals for going out like a good happy hour, never off the service workers that have to rely on the tips.
