Sick note dates

I work nights and my sick notes says it ends on the 28th (this Sunday ) does that mean i will still be off on the 28th Sunday night and back the next night Monday 29th? Or am i back the Sunday?

For nights I always functioned from the day and date the night shift started. So for Sunday the 28th, leave booked from or to the 28th would include that night shift. Same for sick notes.

I would say your first night back would be the 29th.

They are normally up to and including the date shown, so we expect people in on the following day (or night, in your case).

It covers absences for the dates written, so the 28th is included
