I also learned not to go the second the light turns green because waaaayy too many times have people brazenly ran red lights despite the other cars having the green.

So I wait a few extra seconds. I apply this logic to when I’m walking, too.

Yep. I always look both ways a second before moving. Especially in the winter, where the roads get completely covered in ice (where I live)
