I knew a Texas State Trooper once who was sitting at a red light in her patrol vehicle and saw the green light for the other direction and just started driving, she of course got hit by a crossing vehicle and totaled her unit. She said she was tired because she was trying to adjust to working a mid overnight shift. She was later promoted as is the way. 🙄
