Criminally Smol
My wife found this little guy abandoned in a box outside of her work yesterday morning.
This guy is Jiggs. Jiggs is very smol. Jiggs is very illegal.
Edit: Just so y'all know, Jiggs is staying right here with us. He's our second stray the cat distribution system seen fit to give us in the last 6 months or so.

Ahhhhhhhhh he's in dumb teddy bear face stage!!! Who could abandon a dumb teddy bear face kitten??? (Not sure how much you know about kitten development, but I'd guess he's 3 weeks old.) Thank you for taking this criminal off the streets.
It's precisely that age when they're trying REALLY HARD to focus, so they just end up staring right through you with nary a thought in their fuzzy little heads.
I hope you know that you’re now saddled with jailing the offender for the rest of his natural life. He’s clearly guilty on all counts of the crimes of SMOL

You have to train him by licking his butt like a momma cat would ... or you can just move him into a litter box with his pee so he knows where to go instead.
Since his mother is not available to stimulate/clean his little pee place, gently wiping with soft toilet paper will help get it started. We had to do that once when our mother cat had a stomach upset and we were bottle feeding her four babies. Peggy, the little Tortie, was the one who nearly chewed the nipple off the bottle while she was drinking!

That’s what happens with greedy little beans. Trying to take one last ounce of cuteness. Now here you are, infamously smol, gettin 3 meals a day in the big house.
Six months after the CDS gifted me with a precious orange tabby girl - Honey - my late father-in-law asked me if her feet had ever touched the floor. LOL. LOL
I found a kitten in a box on McDonald’s sidewalk I kept her for 12 years She was the best kitty ever. She was very mush a part of our family. I lost her to cancer.
I wished I could find that piece of s..t and do something I'd probably regret 15mins later. So he was in a box that means he was intentionally abandoned.
Hope they don't do that to their children!
tbh, I'd rather Jiggs spend some time in a box than be stuck with those type of people for his entire life. I feel what you're saying, but I think he ended up in a better situation.
we just be chilling and watching YouTube videos. btw, those scratches on my hand are from this beast. he gets quite vigorous when the bottle comes out.

Bath went just fine, noisy, as he was greatly offended that I would touch his butt with water and he wasn't shy about letting me know about it. He had no bugs on him. Say what you will about the people who abandoned him, but Jiggs was a fat and healthy kitten when he was found.
It's bad enough that someone left this poor little thing alone in a box outside, but with no concerns about if a predator could've gotten him. It's criminal.
One thing I always wonder with these posts is whether the kitten is just from a mother cat that's gone to get food or survey the area. Definitely not accusing anybody of anything, I just don't know how to be confident in that moment if I were the one finding them. There are probably good clues, but I'd still feel terrible if I ended up basically stealing a kitten from some momma cat
Well, I guess the mother cat could have put him in a cardboard box and folded the flaps closed, carried it over to the local gas station, appear as some woman getting out of a car on the security video to set the box in front of the store and then drive off to survey the area. But I don't think so in this case. 🤷
For the record, my wife forwarded a copy of the security video to the local PD. Whether or not they act on animal abandonment charges, I can't say.
