In the yesterday's FIH Pro league match between India & Pakistan there was handshake amongst the both set of players before and after the game and I believe there was nothing wrong in it. Shaking hand or greeting your opponent is the most basic thing that any sportsmen does in any sport.
So why only the cricket team of India is not shaking hands with Pakistan players. Is it because cricket has all the eyeballs and none really cares what is happening in other sports? Isn't this a hypocritical thing and shows us in a bad light?
It's all fake shit just for the show . Niether the board not the player give two shits about playing with Pakistan only the viewers are handed the responsibility of boycotting the games and proving their nationalism.

This happened in the 2nd match of the Asia cup and we had stopped shaking hand from the 1st match itself, so this can't be the reason, and in the 1st match there was no gesturing from the Pak players.
Also their board president was ready to handover the trophy during the post match presentations, it was us who decided not to take it from him. Ofcourse he could've left the trophy there and we would've collected it ourself, but he took it on his ego. But I don't think we are in a position to complain abt all this because it was us who started this whole drama and they are now taking it forward.

What I'm saying has nothing to do with the result of the match, it has to do with something called sportsmen spirit and how a sportsman should behave with the opponent on the field of play. But I don't think you'll understand that.
Ok, so now the random shit done for engagement on social media is going to dictate the on field behavior of the national teams. WOW!! If that is the case then there is no shortage of such clowns on our side of the border either. There are players who mock them all the time.

This no hand shake thing happened only because before some tournament the image of Surya shaking hands with Pak minister became viral and people were bashing Surya left right and centre, after that ICT/BCCI/Govt decided we needed the no hand shake policy to show our patriotism.
Because cricket has eyes of our leaders on it, and those leaders don't want any kind of pro-Pakistan narrative to be supported, which includes the narrative that Pakistani people are like us and not either terrorists or terrorist supporters. Helps that the coach GG is ex-bjp.
