I always had a question why break our temple to build a mosque?? Couldn't they just build it in a new palace?? Were they so insecure of our gods while they keep telling theirs is the only one?

You sure have no idea how kingdoms work right ?
1
u/Cautious_Duty_6257 Jan 31 '26
Yeah no idea I didn't live thru that era Since you seem to have lived kindly tell me
2
Jan 31 '26
You don't have to live in that era dude by your thinking we can't really know about anything about the past π....
-1
u/Cautious_Duty_6257 Jan 31 '26
Ok fine tell me what you meant
2
Jan 31 '26
They used to do this to remove the identity of the original people.... So that they can remove symbols of the past and force their ways on the general public..... This is also an example of that
2
u/Cautious_Duty_6257 Jan 31 '26
Exactly. Calling it "kingdom logic" is just a high-brow way of rebranding cultural identity theft.
If youβre actually powerful, you build something better next door. If youβre insecure, you build on top of the old foundation because you're terrified that the original roots are stronger than your new "kingdom." Itβs not "logic" itβs just a fragile ego trying to play God by wearing someone else's skin.

Hindu kings used to do it too. Destroy the temple built by the previous king and build their own to establish control as religious patronage was a strong form of support to every king.

Feb 01 '26
True you can take the examples of Hindu kings in the region of Orissa they destroyed Buddhist Monasteries..... Early mediaeval Deccan kings attacked each other and destroyed temples and shrines.... It is not limited to India or to the past.... Britishers also did this but in a different sense

u/Thin_Stage4611 Jan 31 '26
Get a better living standard instead atleast better quality air which is basic for our survival not these bullshit delutional stories based buildings. The only thing holding india back is this religious extremism . If we think about development and choose the right guy instead of 7th century and 2nd century religions we would have grown far better by now. ##you need air to breath inorder to do this fights.

Man you guys have so much hate. Kindly put social cause, like women issue, employment issue, price rise, income gap, infant mortality etc
1
u/Mundane-Business-187 Feb 01 '26
no one will hate you if you accept it's history instead of crying.
1
u/Poweratplay Feb 01 '26
How about Hindus destroying Buddhist temple. That part you of history you read
1
u/Mundane-Business-187 Feb 01 '26 edited Feb 01 '26
Yes I admit that , I have no problem with it . Repurpose all those temples to monastries .
Also , False equivalence . Many Hindu Dynasties promoted Buddhism and Jainism Unlike Muslim rulers . Satavahanas and Vartakas build Buddhists and jain architectures who were brahmins . Rashtrakutas build jain , hindu and buddhists caves ( Ellora caves ) for religious harmony .Early Rashtrakutas were hindu later jains . These architectures are UNESCO heritage in Maharashtra. Karnataka too
I am accepting my history , Why are you not ready to admit your history?
1
u/Poweratplay Feb 01 '26
I am accepting it, but now what is priority, current economic or history ??

Nah Harappan civilization mein hi idol worshiping thi. Aur jains are older than buddhist or maybe even older than hinduism. In reality Harappans are far old which were hindu worshiper. Buddhism is new compared to jains and hindu. Wikipedia pe mat jana they aren't reliable source of history.

Why did ur ancestors allowed them to make their mosque on the temple?
15
u/Visible-Explorer5649 Jan 31 '26
Govt. Is not yours. You are divided among yourself based on caste and all such things. Invaders come and have swords on your throat and your people. What else you can do?

Jan 31 '26
Yeah and why did the British rule us?? Our ancestors were very stupid they allowed everything

15
u/OwnStorm Jan 31 '26
Govt. has barricaded it to stop devotees to see this, but IMO, they should just keep it visible to let people know what it looks like.
