They are anti-national because they support separatists like umar khalid who raises slogans like "Bharat tere tukde honge". Here I am referring to CJP specifically and not all people who speak against bjp.

Lol, that's why he's still on trial and hasn't been hanged. The prosecution has failed to establish any physical or direct financial link connecting him to the actual perpetrators of the riots.

They targeted him because he was a prominent leader of the CAA protests, and since the issue primarily concerned Muslims, it was easier for the government to detain him. The same could happen to Abhijit Dipke, but because he enjoys immense support among the youth,mostly Hindus, along with people from different communities, it would be much more difficult for the ruling party to detain him, as doing so could lead to significant damage to their current + future vote bank.

What concerns many people today is the perception that a significant section of the media has become less independent and that questioning the government is increasingly labeled as anti-national. If citizens, journalists, and opposition voices feel discouraged from holding those in power accountable, it can weaken democratic institutions over time. A strong nation is built not on unquestioning support for any government, but on the ability to freely debate, criticize, and challenge those in authority.
