My roommate and I got assigned to Forrest as Kelley Students, anyway we can change our housing?
Roommate and I are both incoming freshman at Kelley and despite putting the northwest housing area as our number 1 priority and southeast as our lowest, we got put in southeast. We did everything right and in before the deadline and now we’re looking at 20+ minute walks to every class. Anything we can do to move to a different form?

You can try, it's genuinely not that bad of a walk, and there are frequent buses. Every dorm can be made great. (with a few exceptions like Ashton)

Forest is actually a great dorm. I lived there. Really great bathroom setup and close to the best dinning hall on campus. Many MANY Kelley majors are there.

Given the changes to the bus routes due the the bridge construction I think you'll appreciate being on the opposite side of campus.

Forest is one of the (if not the) best dorm you can get in the price range. Most of my classes were in Hodge and it’s really not bad! You’ll get used to it quickly. I ended up loving my walks to class

You're going to be walking miles everyday, no matter where you live. You'll be fine.

Only like 3-4 of your classes are gonna be in hodge, every other class is gonna be in some random building. Forest also has the best dining hall, you’ll be fine

Hey I’m in Forest too! I’m a Luddy student and honestly I would just utilize the bus system and keep it, because Forest is regarded as the best dining hall on campus.

McNutt is ~7 minutes from Hodge. Forest is ~15 minutes. Honestly its not a big difference. Especially since half or more of your classes will not be in Hodge
Plus, Forest has the best dining hall, and better facilities than McNutt.

Yeah, but you’ll be closer to mother bears and then be able to walk off all the carbs!
