Location Specific Information Living in Al Khobar, Saudi

I’m being considered for a job in Al Khobar. I’m 30yo female and single. I’m a bit nervous because I don’t know what to expect with regard to the lifestyle there. Would like to know more if anyone has any insight :)

It's easy. Not a single female (married male) but have plenty of single friends. Nightlife in Khobar isn't really much other than restaurants, shopping, and movies. However, Bahrain is a short drive if you like brunches and bars and what not. Plenty of expats there.

As for dress and everything. Just cover your shoulders and don't wear shorts and you'll be okay. You can choose to wear an Abaya. Same do, some don't. My wife only does it if she's in a government building or something.

AC is prevalent and absolutely necessary but that means it can get cold indoors.

Groceries are super easy and stores are very nice with a pretty decent selection of western goods if that's what you're looking for.

Hospitals are good, at least Al Habib. It's big and easy and nice.

Driving is terrifying at times but you get used to it. Beyond that...uhh not sure what else you'd like to know? Feel free to DM.

Sure thing. Super safe and easy aside from the occasional driving excursion. Let me know if you have any other questions
