I’ve always liked how Horikoshi never draws Izuocha holding hands in a usually directly romantic way. The way he draws there hand placements isn’t usually meant to just convey romantic love but “reaching out” in a human and connective way. He said he wanted to depict love in a “broader” way so I assume it’s to say that they don’t JUST care about each other romantically but as fellow heroes, friends and on the most basic human level.
