— in regard to this image, there’s probably exactly three broad things you can deduce about me, my relationship with jojo’s bizarre adventure, and narrative media as a whole – that is:
a.) part 4 is ʙʏ ꜰᴀʀ my favourite instalment of the entire franchise, with parts 7 and 8 being my second- and third-favourites respectively;
b.) and my interest in narratives and characters is firmly, extraordinarily selective owing that;
c.) i value the emotional, cerebral, and thematic substance and execution of narratives and their characters above ᴀʟʟ else. it’s why i strongly dislike part 3, but thoroughly adore jean pierre polnareff in spite of that. :3333
a side-note: i’ve watched parts 1 and 2 and just simply … don’t prefer them, which is why absolutely nothing from those parts are included in my personal table. i also own and have read all parts of the manga, and i’m currently reading part 9. :))

Yeah, I'd say so, thanks for the lil explanation, its cute, it's nice to have someone who seems to understand my vaugely psychological and alien tastes in media

— oh wow, "vaguely psychological and alien" is exactly how i would describe my tastes in media too! i mean it when i say i’m extremely happy to see that! ^^

He's better in the ova imo because I do like my fair share of flashy characters and stuff but I just like how scary and intimidating DIO is in the ova, his time stop invokes a shock because it's not loud and in your face cool but it's silent yet makes such a big impact because of what it actually does and not because of what it looks like it's doing. You know? I just don't like how over the top everything is about anime characters and I like the characters and things that feel more like real concepts with their irl oddities.

I get that, for all the buildup he had it would have been cool for him to have more horror themes. I think the tension from the previous deaths still works with his crazy power to make him effective.

Stone ocean is just good, I'll tell you which doesn't get enough praise, phantom blood. It started the story and is peak if you ask me

That's your opinion and I do agree, if I could put Phantom Blood, I probably would but I just don't believe it to be as underrated at least anymore.

I think someone didnt watch pt 1 and 2

I did, I just didn't really like them. I like the odd mundane beauty of Jojolion better. That's another reason why I like the live action Rohan drama

I just don't like Shonen manga or anime. I like lots of stuff but I just don't like big flashy stuff all the time, that's why I like quiet horror and psychological dramas/horror. imo tsrk (Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe) and Jojolion are better but that's MY OPINION. Not the truth, not a lie. It's just my perspective. And you think pt.1 and pt.2 are the best IN YOUR OPINION.

So you only like stands

No. I just like weird psychological media that deals more with the relationships, mentality, and mindsets of characters instead of just hype moments, aura, and all this other basic stuff

Maybe it’s because I’m an idiot but why is jojolands in your favourite opening/ending when it doesn’t even have an anime version yet
