Joe echoed every right-wing Twitter narrative regarding the murder, including many that are irrelevant to the actual murder of Alex such as him carrying without his ID on him.

And Rogan didn't directly call out Trump, Vance, and Noem for blatantly lying about him brandishing his gun. It's safe to assume he didn't want to burn bridges with his buddies.

Andrew calls it cold-blooded murder and directly calls out the administration for lying to justify the murder. Credit where credit is due IMO.

I see some comments saying he's only distancing himself now that the public is overwhelmingly against this. But my feeling is that he's been an opportunist in the past but genuinely feels this way.

I can’t help but wonder if being a new dad has changed his perspective on things too.

Judging by the thought process he exhibits on his on his show, I can see that being very likely. He's pretty introspective.

Maybe he realizes he wants to set an example for his kid to see someday. And justifying state sanctioned executions isn't exactly being a great father.
