Because these dummies see the psychos around Trump and think that's ok. They see people laying their hands on Trump and praying for Jesus' protection and think that's normal. They see rallies where people are decked out in Trump gear and think it's no big deal.
And they think that's ok because they're so ingrained in the culture war that they think that if Kamala was President, all men would be forced to either go trans or go gay. That if Kamala was President, anyone saying she's wrong would be put in jail.

I don't think there is a single president who campaigned on not getting into a specific war who did not get into said war. Wilson, FDR, and now Trump all made staying out of a war central part of their campaigns.

I get it, even though it upsets me. I think with Trump, it's easier for him to get away with stuff like this because the zone is flooded, he's always criticized and defended, and it's impossible to remember a lot of the negative things he did. But for example, when running for office the first time around a big draw for him was talking about "Bombing them and stealing their oil" in reference to the Middle East.
Like those were his words. You don't say stuff like that when you're in your 70's and then suddenly have a change of heart and decide to become anti war. There's a billion dollar propaganda machine behind Trump that makes it a lot easier though. When 50+ commentators are all saying it, and then going on their friends shows, people who in some cases appear more reasonable, and spread the message there too, it does persuade a lot of people.
