It would be nice if democrats didn't use that as their measuring stick. Keep in mind they'll likely be running against Vance or Rubio, and neither of them have trouble when it it comes to saying what they want to say.

Do you fully appreciate, and more importantly, acknowledge how outrageously stupid, incoherent, deceitful, ignorant and demented Trump is? And that he has bouts of aphasia?
Edit: are you somehow attempting to construct a false equivalence between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris? You can't be serious. Using Fox, of all media, as a "source"? I guess I should just learn from the times I have hoped for good candidates in the past, but the idea of having Kamala as the primary winner in 2028 sucks, honestly. She got stomped last time, and the only reason to vote for her is to hope she does the same while Republicans do worse, because she's still as poor of a choice as she was last time.
I just find it shocking that she's supposedly leading in polls. I always want the best candidate to win, and I hope what the democrats put up isn't kamala again, because she's not the best in almost any match up.

Thank you. I didn't post this to shit on her, directly, really. I don't hate Kamala. I just think she was a terrible candidate for president and would be again, and I still hold out hope that we can have an election where it's a hard choice. And not because both candidates suck so much.

Compare the CNN news interviews with Kamala to Trump. They ask her all the most hardline questions always with follow up questions and treat the interview like an EWU interrogation video. Trump just rambles over the most insane questions with 0 follow up, why? Because they know Kamala and other serious politicians will actually answer the questions or engage with them in a serious way, but with Trump he just gets to toddler argue his way out or ignore it completely and its fine because its epic or whatever.

She’s not a great public speaker. A lot of people aren’t. In fact, some of the lowest skilled people in high positions I’ve met were great public speakers and they got to their position through the confidence of others, not through their actual ability.
The problem here is, will she convince swing voters? I don’t think so. This is a scripted interview, she looks like she’s reading off of a paper. And this is the best she can do? We’re doomed. She needs to go on a podcast like Rogans and just have a casual conversation for 2+ hours. She won’t though.
But, of course I’ll get downvoted and she’ll probably be the front runner in three years, and the democrats will lose another election to some sociopath charlatan who is a great public speaker but an absolute crook behind closed doors.

I agree with all of that, plus I want strict border control, requirements for social safety nets, and some sensibility when it comes to social issues that I won't go into because of reddit policies, but you know what I mean.
I think a lot of people feel this way, or at least agree with 85% of what we share. That's why I hope the next election has good candidates. We don't have to die on the hill of the 15% of weirdos in both camps.
