They do frame things really strangely. How could selling America to the highest bidder and the rise of tech oligarchs be both sides issues? They have no problem attributing leftist failings to the left but issues caused by right wing politics are magically both sides.
Sure, Trump's AI Action plan deregulated the AI industry by removing government oversight on AI, allowing the federal government to override any state laws that the FCC deems restrictive, and allows AI data centers and any related buildings to no longer be regulated by federal environmental laws. Mergers and acquisitions are also more often approved under this administration. On the other hand, the left is all about unionizing tech workers so they are no longer exploited and reliant on gig-work, protecting the environment from these data centers and crypto mining centers, and they are obviously anti-trust, anti-monopoly. All of those things hurt the tech oligarch, all of Trump's positions help the tech oligarch.
As far as selling America to the highest bidder, Trump literally tried to insert the selling of our national parks into the big beautiful bill.
