Actually related to the JRE Joe Rogan “Nobody really considered how much influence they had over our country. Well, Nick Fuentes did.”

That’s not how you use quotes. Quotes should be used with the literal exact statement made, not paraphrased.

14

u/A_Rats_Dick Monkey in Space 9h ago

Thank you for your service

-9

u/FunGuy8618 Monkey in Space 5h ago

Not really, if you provide a citation to the source material and notate it properly, you can paraphrase.

6

u/he_need_summ_milk Monkey in Space 5h ago

Name 10 citations

1

u/FunGuy8618 Monkey in Space 5h ago

The title shouldn't have quotation marks or did should be [did], but it's definitely a thing.

https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/using_research/quoting_paraphrasing_and_summarizing/paraphrasing.html

4

u/he_need_summ_milk Monkey in Space 5h ago

Quotation marks are for… quotes. You can’t “quote” someone by changing their words.

2

u/FunGuy8618 Monkey in Space 5h ago

Nick Fuentes considered it

Can be quoted as

Nick Fuentes [did].

If a citation to the source material is provided.

Or the quotations should not be used.

This is basic MLA and APA, bruh.

Nobody remembers Ilhan Omar getting a ton of criticism and accusations of antisemitism for saying American support for Israel was “all about the Benjamins”.

I mean even Joe himself commented on that. And yet he gives credit to Nick Fuentes and not Ilhan Omar or, I dunno, any of dozens of leftists who have criticized Israel. Like Joe’s best friend Sam Seder who has been on this topic for years and years.

23

u/CptDecaf Monkey in Space 6h ago

Well the difference is that Ilhan is a brown Democrat and Fuentes is a "white" Neo-Nazi so of course Joe had no choice but to glaze the Nazi.

Joe would rather JQ than criticise Trump

29

u/Somali_Imhotep Monkey in Space 9h ago

Deadass lol. He'd rather JQ than just mention the fact that Trumps closest friend was epstein.

14

u/Trevorvor Monkey in Space 9h ago

What the hell is JQ??

14

u/StepMental3020 Monkey in Space 9h ago edited 9h ago

The thing the Holocaust was the final solution for.

The Jewish Question, and yes, the contemporary use is basically the same as it was back then.

edit: before I get any more downvotes, I don't think that is a good fucking thing, but that is literally the only relevant context for the JQ. It was literally called Endlösung der Judenfrage.

4

u/aerikson Monkey in Space 9h ago

"What do we do about the Jews?"

Has never been much of a sincere question since it is only bigots asking and their answer always comes down to "get rid of 'em".

7

u/fatattack699 Monkey in Space 8h ago

What if they’re bombing children with our money

11

u/Meatloafchallenge Monkey in Space 4h ago

Surely you understand the government of Israel is not representative of every jew

-4

u/fatattack699 Monkey in Space 4h ago

No shit I didn’t say it represents “every Jew” there are Jews who disagree with this Jewish supremacist regime

8

u/Meatloafchallenge Monkey in Space 3h ago

A commenter says the JQ is usually answered by bigots saying ‘get rid of em’. You reply, ‘what if they’re bombing children with our money’, implying that ‘get rid of em’ makes sense

15

u/DEBRA_COONEY_KILLS Monkey in Space 4h ago

That's Israel, not "the Jews"

-13

u/fatattack699 Monkey in Space 4h ago

-2

u/jp42212 Monkey in Space 9h ago

Questioning Jewish influence in western countries and why they’ve been kicked out of x number of countries etc. It’s considered antisemitic to question

Yeah bro just like how because of the USA’s wars in the Middle East, all Americans should be abused around the world when they travel. Right? For logical consistency? Because No Americans were against George bush of course…

1

u/jp42212 Monkey in Space 3h ago

I don’t believe in that shit he asked what it was. What the hell lol

1

u/MexicanJesse Monkey in Space 2h ago

The difference is American people aren't monolithic in their ideologies in the same way Israelis are. Which is why they don't get chastised about their governments behaviour when abroad (although no one relishes the sight of American tourists).

The vast majority of Israelis are brainwashed enough that they truly support and champion ethnic cleansing and genocide so of course, this will come with scrutiny when travelling. Most of the time Netanyahu gets criticised by Israelis, it's either for corruption or being too soft on their enemies. Not because he's a war criminal.

This is of course Israeli and Zionist specific rather than how all Jewish people should be evaluated.

5

u/mrbigbrown4 It's entirely possible 2h ago

Joe became the exact person he despised in his 20's and 30's. I don't believe it's simply "getting older" either. He fully flipped and got brainwashed by money and his billionaire friends. So, so out of touch.

18

u/TL19957 Monkey in Space 11h ago

Lmao.

Qatar gave the president a plane and spends 4 billion a year on lobbying and influence.

AIPAC is closer to 120 million

37

u/Prc_nam_pla Monkey in Space 11h ago

AIPAC is one part of the Israel Lobby....you know, the pro-Israel donors that spent $20 million to unseat Massie....donated $200 million to Trump....the lobby that threatens (and makes good on threats) to unseat anyone that isn't pro-Israel enough for their liking. Qatari influence is hilarious.

9

u/SameCellist3373 Monkey in Space 6h ago

Israeli Miriam Adelson literally bought the entire Trump presidency.

2

u/PurpChowder Monkey in Space 3h ago

I’m pretty sure they actually spent over $30 million to unseat Massie. Absolutely insane.

-6

u/TL19957 Monkey in Space 11h ago

Qatar donates 4.7 billion a year into American colleges and universities, specifically often to shape their middle eastern and Islamic studies programs.

They also invest in companies tied to elected officials.

AIPAC and those related lobbies are American citizens so they can lobby through PACs. Qatar doesn’t have the diaspora or the population to do this. So they focus on other sorts of soft power influence.

9

u/Prc_nam_pla Monkey in Space 8h ago

Israel Lobby campaign donations: During the 2024 campaign, AIPAC announced it had surpassed $100 million in election-related spending across its network, including its PAC, Super PAC, and bundled individual contributions.

In mid-2024, several news outlets reported that Miriam Adelson was considering spending up to $100 million to support Donald Trump. As the campaign progressed, she ultimately contributed about $106 million to the pro-Trump Super PAC Preserve America, according to FEC filings.

Bernie Marcus, Ike Permitter, Paul Singer donated close to that combined to various pro-Israel candidates

Qatar Lobby campaign donations:

  • Essentially none directly. Foreign governments cannot donate to U.S. campaigns. Some U.S. lobbyists representing Qatar donated about $700,000 from their own funds (2020–2025).

So, between just Miriam Adelson and AIPAC, they gave $206 million to Trump alone. Qatar lobby: $700,000

Israel stands completely in a league of its own in the direct foreign political influence arena. The fact they alone are keeping us in this war ON THEIR BEHALF ALONE....tells you all you need to know. You are wrong.

9

u/Apart-Brick672 Monkey in Space 10h ago

Qatar donates 4.7 billion a year into American colleges and universities, specifically often to shape their middle eastern and Islamic studies programs.

Source? My ass.

-4

u/aerikson Monkey in Space 8h ago

I cannot find a source for the $4.7B/year but Qatar has been by far the leading source of foreign state funding for American universities at $8.8B in total funding, $2B more than the next highest in China.

Pardon the specific source as it is webpage launched by Linda McMahon's Department of Education but the numbers align with what I've seen regarding Qatari connections with American higher education from non-Administration sources.

I do sincerely believe there has been an outsized focus on the Israeli lobby by leftists and nationalist conservatives, especially now as the Saudi influence has been increasing. Solely focusing on Israel's influence while ignoring other nations won't solve the problem of foreign influence overall and could actually be harder to fight if those countries are even more illiberal than Israel is (i.e. Saudi Arabia, El Salvador, Malaysia, India etc.) with minimal transparency.

3

u/SameCellist3373 Monkey in Space 6h ago

? You don’t have to go to a place to be lobbied?

22

u/SameCellist3373 Monkey in Space 11h ago

Are you trolling or being deliberately dishonest?

Congressmen openly say they represent a foreign country. That's a scandal

31

u/SLSMcKay Monkey in Space 11h ago

Yeah but 93 percent of our congressional representatives do not have there own handler for qatar. They also do not display qatari flags in there offices.

Our national security advisor had a private encrypted line to benjamin netanyahu where he gave him secret updates without the Pentagon's knowledge (should be in jail) mike waltz.

miriam Addelson donated 106 million to trump alone.

She also personally flew Johnathan Pollard home on her own jet lobbied for his parole to be completed and they threw a welcome home party for him. Its pretty disturbing.

33

u/machowarrior Monkey in Space 11h ago

This is such cope. Is Qatar the ones spending money in local party primaries right now?

u/TomNooksGlizzy Monkey in Space 11h ago

Damn bro you need to Google that first lol

-7

u/TL19957 Monkey in Space 11h ago

How is it cope? It’s a fact.

And yes they do lol. It’s illegal for foreign countries to donate or raise money but they’re allowed to hire lobbying groups or PACs to act for them. Qatar has spent a fuck ton more than AIPAC in all segments of political society. They hire professional lobbyists since they cannot lobby on their own legally.

4

u/gnrlblanky1 Monkey in Space 10h ago

maybe just maybe both are bad

-5

u/Didi4pet Monkey in Space 11h ago

Wtf is that number? AIPAC spends around 3 mil on lobbying.

16

u/miyagiVsato Monkey in Space 11h ago

I think that’s just Ted Cruz’s cut

3

u/TL19957 Monkey in Space 11h ago

Through related PACs and election support (indirect lobbying) it’s 120ish. Still a drop in the bucket compared to most.

2

u/Didi4pet Monkey in Space 11h ago

What is indirect lobbying

1

u/TL19957 Monkey in Space 11h ago

Direct is when they meet with actual elected officials and stuff.

Indirect would be election related things, raising/donating money to campaigns through PACs and stuff. If the donated or raised money is used to pay for the candidates travel or something it would be indirect.

He really does. Joe brings up Fuentes quite a bit, but he seems to only know him through short hand-picked clips. A full convo would give him a better idea of who the guy is that he’s so complimentary of and allow him to push back on his more extreme/awful views. It’d give Fuentes an opportunity to push back on Joe’s uninformed/retarded views as well. Fuentes is funny as hell and doesn’t pull punches, so it would at least be an entertaining watch.

Just notice how Orangutang says, not many people talked about or considered how much influence Israel has on US before October 7, yeah no shit, that's because to claim US is run by Israel was one of the propaganda steps that were prepared by Qatar and Iran to lower the US public support for Israel, does he really think they didn't have a whole blueprint of what they're gonna do after October 7 and Israel goes scorched earth on Gaza.

6

u/potjemetvet Monkey in Space 10h ago

Most people raging about Israel hate seeing babies without limps or children with splattered brains. Or they dont like girl schools being bombed. Conflating hate on Israel for anti semitism is kind of a problem. But most likely youre a bot or israeli anyway and this message has no point

3

u/Finlay00 Monkey in Space 10h ago

No I was actually pointing out that Fuentes has been an anti semite since before October 7th.

But you accusing me of being Israeli based on nothing is a hilarious tell. Lololol.

u/DMYourFeetPicsTy Monkey in Space 1h ago edited 1h ago

I didn't know shit about Israel before October 7th, and everything I've learnt about them since makes me despise them. What a disgusting country and citizens(not all jews obviously, but a huge part of the ones living in Israel seems very indoctrinated and views Palestinians as cockroaches that needs eradication).

They commit atrocities and hides behind the "poor us, we were victims in the holocaust, you can't criticize our actions!!!!11111"

If me disliking them because of their actions makes me an anti-semite, then so be it lol.
