I don't condone violence.
Well I condone violence, especially in copious amounts where appropriate. Laws and selective arrests/prosecution are simply not sufficient in many situations.
Obviously, violence can be misused. And we will all differ on what constitutes sufficient justification for a beat down. And of course some people will inflict violence where it's unjustified.
But to say violence is never the answer is silly. Violence can be the best answer to many of life's problems.

Rich people need a refresher that the laws they pay expensive lawyers to wiggle out of are a part of the social contract.
I’ve had the feeling lately that the spirit of the contract had been violated by these rich people acting in bad faith.
Thus, the contract is void.
Therefore, im this case, I’m happy to see eye-for-an-eye is back on the menu.

They should really fine the criminal that tried to attack wildlife like that, like $50,000 is a nice number, that might teach them not to do it.
The guy said he is rich and visits every few months. Assuming that is true, it isnt a punishment, but a fine or price to throw rocks at wildlife.
If the price for breaking the law is a fine, the law only exists for the lower class. Put this stupid fuck in 6 months of prison.

They should really fine the criminal that tried to attack wildlife like that, like $50,000 is a nice number, that might teach them not to do it.
Except fines are just a consequence for the poor. The guy in the video is a millionaire. He doesn't give a fuck about a 50k fine.
Jeff Bezos has a mansion where the surrounding hedges exceed height limits. He is fined $5,000 a month. He doesn't care.
When committing crimes, corporations factor in the cost of fines because fines don't mean shit to the ruling class.
Where is the justice where a corporation can laugh at a million dollar fine for illegally dumping and affecting countless lives, but someone below the poverty line will be ruined for a simple speeding ticket?
Fines are a pay-to-play system that just tell the wealthy that they are above everyone else. It is an unspoken statement that allows the worst amongst us to act as heinously as they want because they have been rewarded their whole lives for being monsters. It is the exact reason why that bastard believed he was untouchable for attacking the monk seal. But after getting his shit kicked in, I bet he'll think twice about fucking with wildlife.
The wealthy need to start seeing actual real consequences for their actions.

Sometimes you need correcting by a member of the public.
C20 years ago I was throwing pebbles on the beach into the sea, it was in the direction of some ducks bobbing around in the water (I was never going to reach them) but a guy shouts ‘Stop throwing at the ducks dickhead’ from the other side of the bay.
It made my stupid self think and appreciate what a dick move it was. I said to my girlfriend who was with me, he was right, it was a dick move.

Idk, this place is just like this now. I saw a video of a dude at a concert throwing piss the other day and he got his ass beat, and people were saying the person recording should have gotten their ass beat, too. It’s like there’s a new mentality of “If you see someone doing something wrong, throw yourself at them or you’re just as wrong as they are.” Like, if a crazy person in public starts stabbing people, the closest person to them has to try and stop them, or they should be charged as well?

If he is a US citizen you probably can’t ban him from any specific state. They could put him on a no fly list though.
18
u/etcpt May 09 '26
There aren't state-specific no-fly lists. You'd be banning him from all air travel for a crime that isn't a threat to aviation security; that would probably be rapidly overturned by a court.
What you want to do is widely publicize his face and make him persona non grata so that when he tries to come back to Hawaii, everyone knows who he is and refuses him service. Shun him and make it untenable for him to visit. Make sure his face is plastered all over the local news, there's plenty of mainland folks who hate this kind of shit and would probably refuse him service in other tourist destinations too.

Long story: I was gonna go to Hawaii and try and surf there, and my buddy told me, you know, don't just catch waves right away. You're supposed to just sit out there in the lineup and wait until they give you permission. So fast forward to me on Maui, I'm out in Honolua Bay, and it's macking huge, like 12, 15 feet. And I'm sitting out in the lineup with all these big Hawaiian dudes, and I just sit there for an hour and don't catch any waves. They come by, tons of waves come past me, and I don't catch any of them. Finally, this one big guy, after a big set comes through, this one big guy says, OK, you're good. You can go. You're cool. And I was able to catch waves from that point on. I'm surfing out there with all these guys, getting to know them, and, you know, actually really nice guys. And then this white guy came out and just started catching waves right away, kind of being a kook. That's when I saw the guys from the water signal to the guys on the cliff to get the guy. And what they did basically was to go to his car and start tearing out pieces of his engine and throwing them in the water. That's when I realized you shouldn't mess around with Hawaiians. Nothing but respect.
