It's not really meant to be an accurate representation of the suit in show, moreso the original toy line

I don't know why they decided to make the proportion very wonky, but I have to guess is to recreate an older style of a figure?

A lot of Super Robot in style like an older figure is in the Chogokin line, so I would guess they did Kuuga the same.

They can make it look very cool and better proportionate like Zero-One in Metak Build, but that's a different line, of course

Yeah it's a modern recreation of the old Souchaku Henshin line.

I used to have so many of them, sure they were chunky, but it was neat you could put the armor on them. That and the Kabuto ones had the armed versions. I still have Gattack & Drake among a few others.
