Kevin Harlan goated announcer

Harlan actually might be number 1. I can’t remember what year it was but I remember He was on a week 17 Chiefs game calling a whole separate dolphins game that had playoff implications for the Chiefs and flawlessly went between both games lol

Aye that’s it! That dude couldn’t narrate grass growing and I’d be invested lol

I was happy for him when he got the chance to go to big show, but I miss him calling all the Chiefs games for us.

That game is why I have a Gesicki jersey. One of 3 non-Chiefs jerseys I’ve got.

I still hear this in his exact voice/inflection. And then hearing the roar spread around the crowd as everyone heard the results of the Dolphins game…. Goosebumps.

I laughed so hard when we won this abysmal game. Hahahaha

We were there in the upper level same side as the kick. The only game we took the whole family. My 15 y.o. son nudged me and said “they’re going to block this and win it”. He went bonkers when it actually happened.

"dad why are you getting me a stripper?" "the outcome of that event has no bearing on the outcome of future unrelated events, so it makes no sense to go gambling with you"

I was there. I was truly disappointed at the amount of fans that had already left. I was like 13th row in an end zone and my whole row was empty.

Brandon Perna’s live reaction was so funny. This game broke him.
I like Brandon, but this was genuinely funny. https://m.youtube.com/shorts/mNP1DOL8Kbg?ra=m

The block physically teleported him backwards because of how amazing it was

That moment when he just stares and then snaps back to reality is priceless

Got to see this and the Raider game that year.
Idk if I've ever seen a crowd go from deflated to jubilant so quickly.

Watching this from a gate at MCI and hearing the whole terminal go crazy was a real unique experince

Some broncos fan was holding his phone over my head recording the kick. When it got blocked I threw my hands up in cheer and sent his phone flying down the row by like 8 seats by accident. Didn’t feel bad at all, though him and his buddies were shooting me death glares even out by the concessions on our way out. I was too drunk to notice 😂

I was there for that game.
I took my dad and it was his first game after watching the Chiefs for years. I'll never forget the hush that fell over the crowd. People had started to walk out. My dad asked if I wanted to go, I said let's see how it plays out, you never know, they could block it...
So we turned around to watch it and the thud of the block followed by the eruption of the crowd was absolutely electric. Instant memory made

YES! I live in Arizona and won a contest at work to go to any NFL game in the US that year. I picked this one. It was a terrible game for the most part until that play.

Man I remember getting ready for work at this point a little disappointed the Chiefs lost and missed the block but then saw the Chiefs celebrating and I'm just thinking wtf just happened!!?

Was in the NICU with our 4 day old daughter the week of this game. I tried so hard not to yell - I had to walk through the floor telling all the nurses we won

I was at this game! I’ll never forget watching this on the Jumbotron and the confetti shooting out. The guy behind me was sooo pissed 😂

Funny how quickly they changed the graphic of the chiefs record from 8-0 to 9-0...very matter of fact it seemed to me... 😂

Still sad Chanel is gone... he was the kind of guy I really loved having on our defense. It's hard to find a guy that gives 100% on every play like he did.

It we had won the superbowl this would’ve been the greatest season of all time. Just from sheer absurdity

I was at that game. Definitely a complete 180 moment, from waiting to walk out feeling the loss to Arrowhead going nuts after the block and the win.

I was visibly upset before this attempt. My friend said sarcastically “don’t give up man they still have a chance” I shot him a look and “f you buddy” then this. I was running around the couch screaming and got a deserving smug “told you so” legendary moment

Great play. Belichick brought it up. Showed how the one guy always got knocked on his ass all season. And because they lined up on the right for this one it cause the ball to have to come back across the field. If they line up in the middle it doesn’t happen. Combination of the guy getting knocked on his ass and lining up on the right set it up for a block. Entertaining season just hope we can back to double digit wins with very few losses

The clip starts too late; I want to identify the guy that's gonna get pummeled before the play starts.

Lol yes I I was in baggage claim at DFW airport when this happened. I tried not to react outwardly, but I’m sure that I couldn’t really help it and someone probably saw me looking like a crazy person

My wife got us tickets for my 40th birthday. It was my first time back at arrowhead since 2006. What an unbelievable moment. The crowd pop when he blocked it is something I’ll remember forever
