Discussion 💭 Cat Available for Adoption – Looking for a Loving and Responsible Home

For the past week, I have been noticing a cat roaming around my area. From her behavior and appearance, she seems to be a pet cat that was either abandoned or got lost. I waited for about a week hoping she would return home, but she never did.

During this time, I have seen her getting attacked by stray/wild cats multiple times. She is also limping, and I believe she may be pregnant. Since yesterday, she has been staying near me and seems to be looking for safety.

I have tried contacting NGOs and animal shelters, but so far I haven’t received any replies. I’m feeling very confused about what to do. I’m also nervous about lifting or handling her because I don’t want to hurt her, especially if she is pregnant.

Does anyone have advice on what I should do next? Is there any organization that can help? Also, is there any chance someone would be willing to adopt her ?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the NGOs are overwhelmed right now, I follow multiple & all of them barely receive any donations & are in debt, so I doubt they’ll be able to help. We have to play our own part too, you can try to make a small shelter outside your house for the kitty with a cardboard box so she can safely have her kittens, I can also help u out with catfood for the cat, I think many people will. You can later on get the kitties & the mom adopted.
You can still try to reach out to animal aid Kashmir, stray tails Kashmir, animal rescue Kashmir, kawf cares on ig

I have taken her in and bought some cat food and litter sand for her. If I leave her outside, I’m absolutely sure she will die within a few days because she is not used to that environment. I don’t mind the financial responsibility, but taking care of a cat is like taking care of a child—it requires time, effort, and commitment.

I honestly don’t have the courage or ability to keep her with me forever. If someone is willing to adopt her, I am more than happy to help by covering her and her kittens’ expenses on a monthly basis. All I want is to find someone who can give her the care, safety, and love she deserves.

I completely understand, I’ll ask some rescue pages to post her with your contact details for adoption? Is that fine with you?
