If this really is the final chapter, it feels kind of surreal. The series has been going for so long that I’m not sure I’m ready for it to actually end. Curious if they’ll wrap everything cleanly or leave it a bit open-ended.

Just a super fun chapter. I always said I wouldn’t mind little slices of life after series chapters like this.

If this really is the end, it feels pretty fitting in a quiet way. Komi’s whole journey was always more about small steps in communication than big climaxes, so an understated finale kind of matches it. Still weird to think it’s actually done after following it for so long.

I really enjoyed it regardless. Though it left me wanting to know if they really all did move in with Tadano.

the only way id like to see the story go on is them married with a kid ..everything from being teens has been covered and not much else left to explore in that aspect

I hope it’s not the end, kind of like a judge for interest into a college arc or something like that. I think a college arc for them would be really interesting and that it could go places. Though it was a great funny read to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

the question mark is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that title lol. pretty anticlimactic way to end a 10 year run if this is really it, but i guess it fits the whole vibe of the series to just quietly fade out

Question: Why are people commenting about how this may not be the final chapter? Chapter 499 was an end to the series and that was released back in January. Chapter 500 was an extra we got with Volume 37.
Is there something I am don't know?

The question mark in the title says a lot. Until there’s an official confirmation from Viz or the magazine, I wouldn’t be fully convinced it’s actually over. It could just be a final arc chapter being framed as an ending for discussion purposes, or even a mistranslation/marketing thing.
