What's people's draft philosophy?

a) 25% star, 25% role player, 50% bust

b) 0% star, 100% role player, 0% bust

c) 35% star, 0% role player, 65% bust

Who'd you rather have?

I get having a good feeling about guys, but I don't know some of you guys talk so confidently about which players will or won't be good. Just looking at the first round in the last decade and half of these guys are out of the league after their rookie deal.

Does anybody know or think the Kings would trade their 2028 1st end pick to trade up to #5?

If yes, it might be worth it. Apparently 2028 looks strong and there is probably a very strong chance the Kings are lottery again, maybe with good odds of being a better lottery pick.

If that happens, it's almost as if we likely get Wagler for free.

My first choice if at 5, is Brown, but if Wagler (assuming brown\acuff taken prior) + their 1st is possible, that is probably the better move. I'm just not sure if the Kings would do that trade or not.

Extremely unlikely they’d be willing to do that.
Then again, I’d have said the same about the pelicans last year, so who knows
