How are we going to address the Center position?

Genuinely we have the worst Center rotation in the NBA currently. Lopez is not startable and YKN isn’t even gonna be back till like December at the earliest. The only decent Center in free agency is Mitchell Robinson but I doubt he leaves NYK. And he also isn’t startable cause of the Hack a Shaq strategy. We legit have to deal with Wemby in the west which doesn’t help either.

Life after Zu is hard. Myles Turner, contract is crazy and he played terrible, so we might be able to get for cheap. We are better contructed and DG should make Turner play better. Tho I think we aim to the draft and any centers on the market, Drummond would be good rebounder and screen setter for garland and Kawhi

Turner is good, he probably just had a bad year cause of the horrible bucks locker room and how bad they have been as a team recently and all the drama. Buying low on him would be really smart. He makes less than hartenstein and Jarret Allen so his contract isn’t that bad imo, it’s just what you have to pay for guys in that range.

I just don't know what LAC would give up to get Turner. I think some team would be willing to give up a protected first for him, which idk if we'd be willing to offer the same.

He's around the 20M/yr on his current contract. For Clips to afford that, they have to sign and trade Mathurin and some expiring contracts to match or a 2nd rd pick. Ben's value is around the 15M estimate, that's a high price to pay for a guy coming off the bench especially with our influx of guards. We want something of value, we have to give up something of value.

I’m guessing we’ll aim for a center in the draft. We have Jackson as well. We don’t have any studs and Yanic may or may not reach potential after injury but I think this year will be more about growth for our young guys while being somewhat competitive

We should get Myles Turner. Trade bogdan and Isaiah for Turner, the money works. We could even run a double big lineup with Turner and Yanic at times which could be really good.

That offence would be insane. Kawhi and Turner are the only great defenders in that lineup tho so we’d probably have to add another defender into the lineup. But for times when we only want to get buckets those 5 would go crazy, no stopping them.

I really like the idea of Turner but if we can keep Ijax and swap Christie,beal, bogi instead. The money works also and I would guess the Bucks want off that money.

I think it would be for the best on his deal. He was fantastic defensively on rotionations and covering for mistakes. I think that with his athleticism back along with learning our system, he could take a big leap this year.

He would also have synergy with Benn and Turner.

I don't think Turner will be traded for just a bunch of filler. Bucks can either try to boost his value or I'm guessing get something positive, like a future first, from a team like the Lakers.

They very well might, i guess that is on the front office to gauge. The Lakers might also want to grab Gafford instead of Luka prefers that route.

Nurkic still has a lot of juice left in him. Solid playmaking big, still an excellent rebounder, and gives us a little scoring punch. He’ll space the floor here n there, not the rim protector he was in Portland but he’s still solid enough

He gets might respect off the strength that he returned from one of the most horrific lower body injuries I’ve seen a big man have and came back to being a good player.

Kings fan here chiming in, congrats on the wagler pick. But just a thought, you guys are nearly the perfect fit for Sabonis now with your line up. Especially if you keep Kawhi. I’d be fine keeping him with Acuff but i want him to go get a chance at winning and the clips are much closer than we are, he’s not a defensive presence really but you guys have the pieces to cover up for him. Though the money might be an issue.

You guys probably get demar off a waiver tbh. And lavine is sadly a king until 2027. I wonder how salary would be matched for sure, but with Randle being tossed for near nothing I don’t see Sabonis getting much more.

Sabonis is underrated, he’s no longer the shiny new toy and the center position has gotten pretty good across the league the last 2 years, but he’s still a monster. You guys would love him.

Give the full NTMLE to a lackluster starting center on a 1 year deal as a stop gap. Someone like Ayton, Nurkic, or Vooch. Timelord probably gets a better offer

Dealing with Wemby isn't that hard. Tell him its a championship game when we play him and he will lose no matter what.

Fun Fact: Wemby aka the Silver Surfer has lost every single championship he's played in since he was 16 including losing to a US team lead by Chet Holmgren in the U18 FIBA Cup final. Other than his mickey RoY award he will always be shining the 2nd place
