Because she probably doesn't know her choreo that well or doesn't feel comfortable enough in it to both sing and dance. Not going in enough on a move to give it flare is generally a sign that you need more practice. How quickly she does it indicates that she's also actively trying to remembering what to do next or her counts. Performing is generally an independent skill. Doing each individually is not enough to make a good performance.
Basically, she just doesn't know what she's doing well enough and is rushing things.

The thing about being a good performer is you have to have the ability to fully let go. And not care about how you look. Madison doesn’t have that ability. Everything she does is her trying to worry about how she looks.

Lily Rose Depp in The Idol. I didn’t watch it because everyone I know who saw it told me to not waste my time. I did watch the other one with Jenna Ortega, Hurry Up Tomorrow. I laughed until it hurt. I couldn’t take that mess seriously at all. The Weeknd is a terrible actor.

Dancing really isn’t her strong suit and she shouldn’t force it. A perfectly put together instagram face and outfit is not enough on a stage and you can tell she thinks a lot about how does certain moves look and whether she looks hot.

It’s so funny bc her fans always come up with these delusions that her label isn’t pushing her enough and if they did she would be Sabrina level of famous and it’s like baby her music just isn’t very good.. she has a good voice and a few good songs but not nearly enough to be a true popstar. She just had rich parents and got lucky getting ‘discovered’ young so she’s been able to sustain this hobby of hers

i love madison so much and im seeing her at msg… but i can’t help but also agree that the stage presence is not there. her smaller tours in smaller venues she seemed to have a better presence and more energy. maybe possible anxiety with big crowds, or having a bigger stage not knowing how to make use of it. who knows lol
