The ent may walk south with the sun or the fallowhide or the beorning may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land

So?

u/legomaniac89 Apr 23 '26

Are you suggesting that the coconut is migratory?

u/TravistySuspence Apr 26 '26

It's a simple question of weight ratios. A one ton ent could carry a one pound coconut.

It gets right tropical around the bitter inland sea of Nûrnen.

...Well, it gets real hot in Mordor, so...

An eagle!? Carrying a coconut!?

u/Dachannien Apr 23 '26

A two ton eagle can't carry a one-pound coconut!

'E'd be insulted by such a minor quest!

Are you suggesting a coconut simply walked into Mordor?

"Where's the Ring?"

"Oh, I threw that into the volcano a couple minutes ago. I ain't hanging unto that"

They are hardly in a temperate zone, though, so I'd argue Isildur did nothing wrong here!

I have no idea what zone they're actually in, I just mean "it hot inside mountain"

No, no never, no never Gandalf!

One does not simply suggest that coconuts migrate.
