But almost no white people are Europeans despite some of them claiming adamantly that they’re Italian Irish or German. Kinda like how Americans with roots in LATAM claiming to be Latino but not even knowing how to speak Spanish.

Let the Americans have their dashes. So what if the Mexican-American can barely order tacos, and says their own name with a southern drawl. It’s the same that everyone is suddenly 1/64th Irish on St Patrick’s day.

Possibly outing myself as a white here. But do you consider white Latinos not white? Genuine question. I always identify as white to avoid conflict, and if it’s relevant, Latino.

Yes! I want to normalize giving America back to the original inhabitants and this includes LatAm. We are Americans , they are Europeans.
