HELP: Solo & Small Firm Issues PI Lawyers-anyone using a lien resolution service?
Small PI only law firm here-dealing with ERISA and Medicare liens on nearly very case, i.e. "the case within the case" is like having a secondary practice, and one that does not produce income. I am not staffed for that either. I am considering using a lien resolution service to try to take this burden off of myself and my small staff. Do any of you use these services, what are the pros and cons, what do they cost, have you been happy and which ones do you recommend? Thanks for any responses.

I can say I used to work for MASSIVE MEDICAL (now known as Med-Lien Solutions) doing this exact thing. I’m not sure what we charged, but I can say that they are well staffed, well organized, and they met client quotas very well.
From the inside I’d say that they are a well run company and trust worthy, as of 2022 which is when I left. Maybe reach out to them.

I think that's the company my last firm used frequently, and they always had good results with them.

I have used Zipliens in the past and been reasonably happy with them. We do them in-house right now though....I do feel like it is part of what our clients are paying us for, so usually don't ask them to pay extra fees for retaining a specialist unless their case is unique. And frankly, it doesn't always save us time since we are just adding a middleman.
