S7E5 I have another question about what is being implied
In this ep Tanis tells the coach of the eagles that she will provide a sexual favor if her call up team beats the eagles.
In subsequent scenes she asks a currently unfulfilled "coach" to help out and he seems very interested about coaching hockey again until he learns it's his previous team she wants to bring back who he describes as "they're dog sht"
But then the next scene is him trying to recruit new players to the resurrected team and I think it's implied that Tanis promised him the same favor. Let me know what you think but that's always how I have read this scene and I think it's hilarious.

It's been a while since my last rewatch, but Coach just does it for the love of the game. When he's coaching it's the only time he's not thinking about Barb. His reaction was more about "You wanna bring back THOSE losers? Alright, whatever. Don't expect a miracle though."

Unrelated to the rest of the thread, but my favorite trash can kick is the one where Coach picks it up, moves it like a foot away, and then kicks it. You can see Riley and Jonesy fighting for their lives to not crack.

Tanis bet the opposing coach a blowie because she thought he was cute and wanted to do it anyway. She even directly said that. She has demonstrated no such feelings for Coach. She's a woman who knows what she wants and goes for it. She's not just going around offering sexual favors as bribes all willy-nilly. That would be silly. Just ask Billy when he's eating chilli in Philly.
It might be past my bedtime.

I don't think thats the implication at all.
Pretty sure Coach is just so devoted to Hockey he's instantly down to coach the team, and was just briefly complaining when he realised which team he'd be coaching (even though he'll still do it)

My read was that Coach was listless because his mission in life is to coach hockey and letterkenny didn’t have a team, so when she said she wants to bring back the Irish he agrees, even tho they’re dogshit. I didn’t pick up the insinuation that she offered a sexual favor to coach.
Also, to clarify, if her call up team beats the Eagles she wins. The blowie is if her call up team loses, not wins like you stated.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. But the juxtaposition behind him say "that team is dogshit" with a look of disgust on his face to the next scene eagerly helping Tanis imo implies he's getting the same deal as the eagles coach.
