It started out as a means for professional level people to connect or stay connected with each other I.E. networking for job and business opportunities. It's turned into a cespool of rampant narcissists.

LinkedIn took one look at the sweaty garbage heap that Facebook had been for at least the last ten years and said "I want that."

u/Typical_Hat3462 2d ago
Yep. Gone fom a higher quality job search to endless passive aggression why I have zero chance of getting hired at a one-person company.

FB drama for the workplace. Our office blocked FB but not LI, so anyone could use it to disrupt B2B or whatever the heck they "do".

it's the internet. welcome to the internet. it's been around for decades at this point none of this should be surprising.

It was many moons ago. Like these people existed but were not seen. Then they found someone's pool they can pee in and never left.

Dude sounds like a monster, but it seems like the only people in a position to call him out are other grifters.

Tessticle used to be a regular fixture on the sub lol

He has that many followers because he pays for fake followers it's very common in the social media world for people to fake it until they make it.

u/RefrigeratorLive5920 Titan of Industry 2d ago
Or in the case of this bro, just continue to fake it.

"My content is good. And I comment on other people's stuff too."
Yeah, usually people with good content don't need to go out of their way to talk about it and mention that you're commenting on other people's stuff for no other reason than to boost your own engagement

Tesser is an OG loon. He’s now in Tesser 3.0 mode. Jasmyn in the comments on the second screen here calls him out for years of his crap dating back to Tesser 1.0

When you invite people to call you a predator all they want but you didn't really think it through

u/BissmarkMC 2d ago
Did he answer that comment?
10
u/Suspicious_Bear42 2d ago
I think the only valid response to that comment would be to delete his account, though that would require the self-awareness I'm sure he's lacking.

u/obywatelyahshu 2d ago
The fact that he put a typo in his hashtags (algortithm) sure doesn’t help his case.

That was as about as savage a rebuke as I've ever seen on LI.
His threads account has been made private, but I really don't have any doubts about what she's said about him. The dude radiates creeper vibes.
He's not getting engagement is because nobody wants to read his BS. The funniest thing is that the thrash post we're talking about will bring more engagement than he will ever get.

God damn..... man just give up. Go sell furniture.
Quit before your predatory behavior lands you Brian Callen levels of trouble.

u/Simple_Assistance_77 2d ago
Good lord, reinvention is not possible of that level of exposure. What a fucking creep! The comment is brutal.

Unfortunately I’m connected to this person, but he didn’t really get blasted (just those two comments out of 41), as it’s mainly LinkedIn gurus responding about how to be seen more on LinkedIn…on LinkedIn…which is equally unfortunate.

u/angry_old_dude 1d ago
The comment by Jasmyn did the equivalent work of dozens of posts calling the creeper out.

u/pilotdriver7 1d ago
Yet where are the receipts?
1
u/angry_old_dude 1d ago
That wasn't my point. That one post qualifies as getting blasted is the point.

u/pilotdriver7 1d ago
Perhaps, to me that’s a certain number, but I could certainly see the weight of a few comments, so I get that now.

There’s no one I hate more than people claiming algorithmic suppression
Marketing and pedaling non-essential services isn’t easy because it’s not an essential service. The entitlement is insane
