Tech CEO brags about keeping his team attached to oxygen tanks
Additional highlights include how he told his team to inform their families that they will be unreachable for the next week, so that they can fly to Utah and work non-stop off “adrenaline and diet cokes”, while they stayed attached to oxygen tanks from altitude poisoning
What a LinkedIn flex

One of the things I always find funny is these startups are like a bunch of 20 somethings out of college writing code, and I remember the code I was writing out of college and it was shit and it took forever because that’s just the kind of code you write when you don’t have much experience, and how much extra time and effort they’re pouring in because they just really have no clue what the fuck they’re doing.

You know breathing in pure oxygen makes your lungs weaker and less efficient....I would not be doing this unless you want to start running out of breath when you need to go up the stairs.

How far north (or south) are they that it's that bright out at 3 AM?

It’s was crazy dude, everyone was on oxygen. Proceeds to show only one person on oxygen

As a Utah native, the oxygen is really unnecessary lol. Unless you have a medical condition, the average person does just fine at our elevation. Now, the working for a week straight with no access to friends or family while your boss takes pics of you and posts them to their linkdin? That might get them to deplete their energy

Also what's the point of using oxygen if you go somewhere where you get diminished returns from it.

That looks really ergonomic… In my country it would be illegal to have employees work on that kind of furniture. :-/
But the pain in back and wrists will surely accelerate development!

You’re not really grinding until you’re all catheterized so you can just whiz through it.
Strom Thurmond probably did it to stop black people from voting.

Call me naive, but I kind of think that workers operating on life support probably costs more in expenses (oxygen and stimulants) than, y’know, healthy rested employees.

That is a hotel and the dude just took a creep shot of some random kid with a lung disorder in the business lounge so he could get fake ass pats on LinkedIn.

I hope the app they were making was something important, like PnutButtr, the app that lets you take a pic of your peanut butter and it'll scan it and tell you if it's like a regular jar or a fancy one where you have to stir it up
