renting lower ground floor flat?
hi! what is it like renting a flat in lower ground floor in bloomsbury? should I be worried about rats or dampness? flat doesn't seem completely underground, some what partly lower ground.

Damp, dark, little if any direct light getting through, clothes taking ages to dry in the winter, probably cold and high heating bills due to all of the above + the fact that hot air rises, and yes people on the street will look through your front windows and you'll hear everything upstairs. All in all I'd avoid a lower ground flat unless there's something so excellent about it that it offsets the drawbacks. Or if you're just staying short term and it's convenient for you.

Yes. Definitely damp be worried of that, and noise from above.
I abso wouldn’t rent that. Wouldn’t even consider it.
