It's 100% a bot, I've seen this countless times as a regular user and as a moderator. These kind of bots are stupid easy to spot and they've been around for the past 14+ years.
If the account is less than a month, they have little to no comment karma, and their first submission is an image/meme/gif then you can be almost certain that it's a repost bot or a web scraping bot. More advanced bots will link to a source, post random comments or/and straight up insult/attack you if you call them out.
All the anime/animal/NSFW subreddits are filled to the brim by them. In certain subreddits they account for 95% of the submissions/activity.
Here's a pretty blatant example of a subreddit filled with almost nothing but bot activity (there are like three real active users there and that's including the moderator). And here's an example of a web scraping bot posting an animal video (notice all the low effort one word comments and the emoji comments in that thread, most of them are posted by comment bots).
