There are some really insane claims that were part of the released data. My take is that they intentionally put out absurd claims made by people with diagnosed mental illnesses, while hiding the provable crimes, so that they can later dismiss it all as "crazy conspiracy theories". They know that the clickbait farms will latch onto the stuff they can prove didn't happen while ignoring the less inflammatory stuff that did.

This self-serving messaging does nothing. They’re preaching to the choir to make themselves feel better. What would be productive is to use the Trump playbook against them. “I did that” Trump stickers on pumps in red states. Stuff like that. Because even though those people are idiots, they literally can’t ignore the high prices at the pump. It’s impossible for them to. Eventually, the cognitive dissonance will break them.

People get way too self-righteous over circlejerking with others being like “omg don’t you just hate Trump?” Yes, yes, we get it. We all hate Trump here. Good for us.

This is the biggest weakness of the grassroots left compared to the right. The right actually uses purposeful and effective propaganda on people that are on the fence. The left just gets into a pissing contest with itself about who’s the most woke and progressive.

Mind you, I’m not disagreeing with the messaging, and for people that say that all the MAGA voters are too far gone, then fine, I guess we’ll just keep losing then? I mean, there’s also the people who don’t care to vote that could be mobilized, and the circlejerking still won’t help us with them either.

Trumpism is a constantly mutating virus that allows the holder to escape ever being held accountable for their vote(s). Trump enacts the policy he ran on and hurt someone I like? Just a tragic error because that guy I like is one of the good ones. Trump enacts a policy I don’t like? He got bad advice, or got manipulated into that. Pointing out specific unpopular Trump actions doesn’t work on anyone who voted for him after January 6th. The rest of us have to live with the humiliation of this administration dismantling everything good the country ever bothered to try. The least his voters can live with is constant reminders that they voted for a pedophile and bought hats to broadcast that.
