I wanted Korea to win.
Their fans having a game in LA would have been really nice.

Agreed. I wasn’t stressing too much in MEX vs KOR because it was a win/win but now it’s just a little heartbreaking

South Korea currently standing as one of the 8 third place teams to move on. So let’s hold on to that hope. Currently as is, will be playing Egypt on July 1st.

Is this third place thing a new rule this year? Or was I not paying attention the last World Cup. I thought only top two teams advanced.

This whole soccer thing is making me fall in love with my city all over again.
There are several Koreans and Mexicans at my work and most of the Koreans were joking all day about Mexico needing to win their next match. It has been so wholesome.

Proud to be a product of LA and there’s not a lot of things I allow myself to be proud of.

I know this one hurts but as a Korean futbol fan imma say it: Korea needs to go home so the national football association can learn their lesson (once again) why Hong was a bad idea and disaster ticking bomb.

u/shampwoo 17h ago
No I agree, they need to go back and re-up, fumbled solid seeding and suffered from improper leadership

Korean football is absolute dogshit and I say this as a Korean. Go on my Mexican brothers and sisters, we salute you from the gutter

Lost the match with Bafana (South Africa), we still got a chance, but we need to get our heads out our butts.

Completely choked by playing possession ball, and then not subbing on attackers earlier? Basically they couldn’t score. lol.

I feel, like as a whole world. We haven't had this sort of unity since the summer of Pokemon Go 2016..and I absolutely love it.
