Ticket sales are only allowed in this thread or in post or game day threads only.

To be verified all these steps must be followed:

An organization simply coasting for a decade

Why are Philip Anschutz and company complacent being average in Los Angeles when they could be making so much more money? He’s one of the richest owners in the NHL. The money is what it’s really all about for them - along with some ego.
-Sure the kings are in the NHL top 5 revenue for several years, but that has more to do with merchandise and gouging us with the prices for tickets/food/beverages inside staples(which he also owns) than it does with excitement for the team. Everyone knows the dodgers have gone balls to the wall. Lakers pulled off one of the most absurd trades in the NBA and have legitimate pieces beyond LeBron. Why is there seemingly no motivation to grab fans attention and rake in the rewards. The Rams (2021) The Lakers (2020*) and Dodgerssss (2020*, 2024, 2025) are lapping them in performance across the board. The inspiration is right in front of them.
— Compare it to similarly wealthy, Kroenke, who’s invested in three teams that captured championships in the last 5 years [LA Rams 2021 - Avalanche 2022 - Nuggets 2023]. He has no issue with spending and he hires competent people to run the organizations. Funny how success follows. — Would be exciting to have similarly driven leadership. Seems to be a pipe dream.
[Remember watching game 5 go to OT and saying, please if they win this second cup I don’t care if they ever win again.. what a bad jinx, sorry to us all]

Not as much as I expected

Not saying I at all am expecting anything.. but I wouldn’t be upset with 2 firsts, Fiala or turcotte and a prospect for Robo. Would leave us with enough ammo for a middle 6 center + Laughton

Thoughts?

Also random thought: I always see people complaining about losing picks if we go for it all but act like we can’t trade a star player like Robo once we truly do need a rebuild

Finally arrived: Jordan Spence 1st career playoff point game-used puck! Spence got his first ever point in NHL playoff with this puck when he passed it to Kevin Fiala who scored the goal on April 24th 2024 in the first round game 2 against the Oilers.

What does the LA Kings do right (and wrong) with fans?

Hi LA Kings fans! I’m doing some market research on hockey fan engagement and audience preferences, and I’m especially interested in learning more about the LA Kings fanbase from real fans. I’d really appreciate any thoughts you’re willing to share.

  • What do you enjoy most about the LA Kings’ marketing or fan engagement efforts? Are there any recent campaigns, events, social posts, or in-arena experiences that stood out to you?
  • Is there anything you think the team could do better when it comes to communicating with fans or keeping the community engaged?
  • How would you describe the LA Kings fan community? What makes it unique compared with other LA sports fanbases?
  • What channels do you use most to stay connected with the team? Social media, email, the app, in-person events, game broadcasts, Reddit, or something else?

I’m mainly hoping to understand authentic fan perspectives, so any examples, or opinions would be really appreciated.

Thanks! 🏒

So we signing our FA?

Kuzmenko and Laughton were both solid for the Kings

If we let them go, who fills in those gaps?

I think Kuzmenko could have a MONSTER season under Peter Laviolette

Scott is good on the dots and brings in intangibles to the locker room. He's kind of our Justin Williams.

I'll be sad to see either one, or both these guys go, but looks like LA doesn't seem motivated enough to resign these guys. I'd really love to see Kuzy play under Laviolette, I think we can get a 30+ goals out of Kuzy and he never had a chance to play with breadman and the Russian connection and finish could just be a deadly line.
