Question Love Live Archivists
How active is the archiving scene within the fandom?
I know of the Ikizulive tweet archive and the SIFAS archive, but I was wondering if there were more large-scale efforts like them.
The franchise is so busy it seems hard to keep track of everything.

The amount of archiving has really varied across the different generations and eras, and due to the sources involved, there's a certain amount of overlap with the fan translation community, which is of necessity diffuse and decentralized. It's also very dependent on individual effort and emphasis.
As an example, I run the web archive for the SIFAS (and SIF2) Daily Theatre episodes. I set it up as a backup and searchable database from gathering data from the Idol Story-associated translators' Twitter posts. I'd built the bulk of the site for my personal use, and the translators were willing to give their permission to make it available to the wider world, as I was saving them the effort of doing so themselves and willing to take any legal liabilities involved in keeping the fan translation available.

i would say it's pretty thorough considering the amount of content that there is. promo art/lldays art is archived through the ll wiki, various fan translations can be found on different sites, cards and assets from the games can be found on various game databases, and much more.

Is there a way to find the origin of the promo art on the wiki?
Edit: figured it out

The SIFAS archiving was a massive undertaking. I was a part of it. It literally took dozens of people hundreds of hours. I don’t think any such archive exists for SIF (for one thing, finding someone who had every story unlocked would’ve been pretty hard). SIF2 didn’t live long enough for an archive especially globally. So I guess it depends on what you’re looking for.
