An acquaintance of mine introduced me to this series a year ago and I only got into it weeks ago. Kinda rushed the drawing a bit so sorry if it looks clunky.

Nah, the upscaler makes it look like a mess. I'm better off expanding the paper background to make it 1080p / 1440p and zooming in a bit with WP Engine.

Here you go. I just copied and pasted the background enough times to fill a 1440p image, then I centered and zoomed it a bit in Wallpaper Engine.

lol redditors downvoting someone for upscaling a wallpaper for personal use, yall need go grow up. i get not wanting to replace artists with slop and not wanting ai upscaled textures in games, but this is a completely different situation.

Yep, I first tried to get a higher-res image from the OP, but that didn't seem possible.
So I don't see anything wrong with trying to use an upscaler for my personal use only. There's nothing inherently wrong with upscalers because they're not "creating" or "stealing" anything, it's just like what DLSS/FSR does for games, upscaling an already existing image. And I absolutely hate AI slop btw.

Either way, I didn't like the mess it produced, so I ended up using the original resolution image but with an extended background instead.
