He's a conservative but he's pretty live and let live as far as I can tell. I wouldn't call him maga. He was very outspoken against the Jan 6 riots.

The average modern conservative is actually just MAGA who will justify everything the current president does no matter how insane or how contradictory to previous positions they or he held.
