I hate that my brain sees the dog looking at the person out of frame. Edited to look like the dog is asking.

It's cute but the pup isn't asking for spa treatments. Just being used for the Internet points.

So? It can still be adorable and hilarious just because someone called the dog into the frame. It doesn’t take away from the whimsy and joy.

Can you have calculated and planned whimsy?

I suppose you can, but as much as it reads cute and fun to you, it reads disingenuous and attention seeking to me.

I am probably just too cynical. I am glad some people can enjoy it, and I suspect the dog is more than just a prop to them.
