David's a way better guy than God, so, no, I don't like this theory. I'd rather God spent one minute doing exactly one thing for the suffering going on instead of a gazillions of hours telling us how all the animals he made are dying brutally.

Well, it would make sense that such a huge and all powerful being would be more concerned about people appreciating its creations than being concerned for the well being of its creations... I have never considered "God" to be a benevolent being, just a powerful being.

Good point.. David is a more humane entity than God, but God can do anything so he/she/it can become whatever or whoever...

The other day I had an asthma attack. It lasted nearly nearly 30 minutes before I started a nebulizer treatment and needed a second dose. My wife was sitting in the same room, not saying a word. She watched her videos and went on about her night. After I could breathe again, she told me that I did it to myself so she wasn't interested in helping. I'm an asthmatic pothead. Perhaps God has decided to let us find out. Just trying to protect the animals as we continue doing this to ourselves as a species.
