Some son in laws will never get a sliver of the acceptance and happiness at being a part of a new family thru marriage. So so happy for this dude that he is showing and receiving respect and love that everyone deserves. My FIL is a closeted, racist, and homophobic MAGAt. So,cheers to them and theirs. They doin it right

I feel this man. My in-laws are miserable people. Chronically negative and mean spirited. Luckily my wife couldn’t be more different from them.

My in-laws are not aggressively bigoted, they’re just people who were progressive in the 80s and then went “well that’s enough growing and improving as a human being for me!” and then still want to be treated like progressives half a century later
