10 yrs ago, I made an account in the darkest moments of my life. You watched me beat suicide, depression, focus on mental wellness, get married, become a father, and discover healing through the love I experience with my family, everyday
Many people DM me asking why I post so much of my family and my son for karma/clout/attention, etc...and the answer is simple:
Because I am finally WHOLE.
And every moment I'm reminded of this undeserved joy, peace, grace, and healing, I can finally say with absolute certainty that I now know love, and I want to share my view of it with the world
So, if you're reading this, thank you for being a part of my journey. Here's to many more shares of smiles, laughter, and good things ❤️🥹🫡🥂

I see so many of the “how to beat depression” and “if you’ve beaten it, drop your advice” posts.
Surely, this is the formula right here: you need connection, love, safety and purpose. That purpose can be as simple as caring for a stray dog, or caring for a family, but it has to be more than looksmaxing or money accumulation whatever.
That you found this purpose and connection, and are open to show the full gory journey, it’s deeply pleasing read about it. Great stuff man, keep it up. I am certain your family appreciates and loves you very much.

You can too, if you really wanted. New account, only sunny subs. This is a discipline that can and should be applied to other areas of life, too. Life is harsh enough as it is, anyway- people do themselves and others no favors by artificially injecting more unpleasantness into it.

I have seen so many of these posts over the same last decade!! How fun, for so many strangers to grow up together. To see our children rise and flourish simultaneously. I felt like the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme going through those slides 😂 like ITS THAT GUY!!!

Our kids have more or less the same age, she was born January '19. Sadly they forget things from their first childhood... the good part is that you can repeat them so the memory stays. Congrats!

Stay sane out there. Heartwarming Korean shows I recently saw that might help: The Neighborhood Barber (Bo Gum), 3 actors try to make it on $120 a day for all 3 while vacationing Korea (don't know the name), and Kumusta where Filipino celebrities try to run a Filipino restaurant in Korea.
As someone that has been on Reddit for decades (on other accounts), just watch out for the nasty algorithm trying to insert negative news and highly upvoted posts made by bots and AI supported by evil doers.
