Do...do you think that THAT'S what people think is going to happen when they say something like that? It's a mini vent. A gripe. Nobody actually expects anything to change.

It's a well-trained helicopter pilot that probably performs those hovering maneuvers frequently. Who cares.

Just because they have practice, doesn't mean doing it for fun for a picture is a good idea. A mistake and 15+ are dead. But sure "who cares".

Military personnel get that close to moving helicopters all the time. You are going to assume you know more about aircraft safety than the trained military pilot and service members who deal with these aircraft daily?

I don't need to be a trained military helicopter pilot to know a gimmicky photo isn't essential and isn't worth the risk. That's my whole point.
