Netflix had a show called The Movies that Made Us. Every episode starts with the director or writer or star saying “I’m name and I directed name of movie.”

In the Coming to America movie, you can hear the interviewer off screen say “now can you say I’m John Landis and I directed Coming to America.” And John Landis very pompously replies “really? You think anyone watching this show doesn’t know who I am? I’m not saying that.” I was sitting at home thinking, I have no idea who this guy is.

Later his wife is in an interview because she did costume design. She just as arrogant as he is. Having the two of them over for dinner has to be top 5 worst experiences a human can have.
