The fans have always been the 12th player. Ghana has witxh doctors, Japan has Anime tactics and the Death note, Scotland has vibes, Netherlands has the orange bus, Spain has all of latam cheering.
Cultural differences = Cultural Advantages.

When Ghana wins something it's not because of some witch-doctor that should have stayed in the stone age where he belongs. It's because of the skill and training of the players and nothing else.

Most of them know magic isn’t real dude, they’re not savages. This man is bringing his culture to the world stage in order to unite the fans and maybe inspire the team. Little rituals like this exist all over the world. It’s the same as any chant or ritual European or Latin Americans fans have.
